"We do not have to wait for future discoveries in connection with the powers of the human mind for evidence that the mind is the

greatest force known to mankind. We know, now, that any idea, aim or purpose that is fixed in the mind and held there with a will to achieve or attain its physical or material equivalent, puts into motion powers that cannot be conquered."

Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies. We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence.”

“You are not IN the universe, you ARE the universe, an intrinsic part of it. Ultimately you are not a person, but a focal point where the universe is becoming conscious of itself. What an amazing miracle.”

"The universe's similarity to the brain-cell could just be Apophenia.  This is the experience of perceiving patterns or connections even in random or meaningless data. I say this because the similarity was discovered only when a computer simulation of the Universe was made."

Neuroscientists are continuously discovering more about the marvel that is the human brain, in part thanks to advanced neuro-imaging techniques over the past few years.

Our lifestyles have also changed quite dramatically over the past 30 years, due largely to the advancements in technology and the internet.

Doctors and scientist calculated that we now receive five times as much information each day as we did in 1986. The amount of information we produce in a day through email, social networking sites and text messages is on average six newspapers worth, compared to two and half pages in the 80s.

Some say we are living in cognitive overload and that there’s a limit to how many things our brains can cope with at the same time.

So how do we help ourselves and our brains to cope with this?

"I'm a The Universal Mind contains all knowledge. It is the potential ultimate of all things. To It all things are possible"

The knowledge of Mind is the highest and hardest, just because it is the most 'concrete' of sciences. The significance of that 'absolute' commandment, Know thyself − whether we look at it in itself or under the historical circumstances of its first utterance − is not to promote mere self−knowledge in respect of the particular capacities, character, propensities, and foibles of the single self. The knowledge it commands means that of man's genuine reality − of what is essentially and ultimately true and real − of mind as the true and essential being.

The Universal Mind, being infinite and omnipotent, has unlimited resources at its command, and when we remember that it is also omnipresent, we cannot escape the conclusion that we must be an expression or manifestation of that Mind. A recognition and understanding of the resources of the subconscious mind will indicate that the only difference between the subconscious and the Universal is one of degree. They differ only as a drop of water differs from the ocean. They are the same in kind and quality, the difference is one of degree only.
