Instructions To Make Gel: Wash thoroughly, soak in spring water for 12-24hrs or until Irish Moss has softened. To speed up the softening process, simmer Irish Moss in spring water for 25-30 minutes. Blend irish moss and spring water until texture is a creamy consistency. Use warm or allow to cool in the refrigerator to thicken into gelatin. Mix 1-4 tablespoons in spring water, smoothies, juices, fruit sauces, hot pepper sauces, herbal teas, alkaline milks: hemp milk and coconut milk, warm vegetable soups, vegan yogurts, vegan pancakes, cakes and pies, salad dressings, and other alkaline plant-based meals. You can also use it in natural skin and hair products too.
Storage: Keep Raw Irish Moss in a dark and cool tempature area. Stays fresh in package for up to 1yr. When in gel form, Irish Moss must be refrigerated. It can last between 3-4 weeks in the refrigerator and up to 1 year in the freezer.
